A compact recording studio in Oud-West: live room, vocal booth and control room, with the same core engineers since 2019.
Why we built this studio
Cijativojaconsulting focuses on sessions where you can iterate quickly: vocals and voice-over in the booth, band passes in the live room, mixing and mastering in control. We want you to know who hosts you, what an hour costs and which files you take away.
No rotating freelancers per slot: Maarten van Dijk coordinates scheduling and quality; Sophie Jansen and Lars de Boer split vocal/podcast and mix/master work. Rates are on services; practical notes are in our guides.
The rooms
Live room — 26 m²
Used for band tracking, ensemble takes and occasionally wider podcast setups.
Vocal booth — 11 m²
Isolated booth for singing, spoken word and voice-over with sight lines to control.
Control
Hybrid setup for tracking, editing, mixing and mastering; 16 inputs available for simultaneous sources.
How we work
Each session starts with a short check of goal, tempo and references. We use published rates on services and a written quote before booking. Deposit 30 %; cancellation and revisions follow our terms and conditions.
Mixing and mastering include 2 revision rounds when feedback stays concrete and within scope. We keep session files for 12 months.
Getting here
Overtoom 141, 1054 HG Amsterdam (Oud-West). The studio is on Overtoom in Oud-West. Trams 1 and 12 serve the Overtoom (Vondelpark) stop; from there it is about a five-minute walk. You can lock your bike at the racks along Overtoom in front of the building. Monday–Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 11:00–17:00 (by appointment only). Closed on Sunday. - Same engineer, same thread Whoever writes your quote usually runs your session — unless we agree on a specialist upfront.
- Published rates Prices incl. and excl. VAT are on services; no invoice surprises beyond agreed extra time.
- Your material After full payment we deliver work files as agreed; rights and privacy are in our terms and privacy policy.
