Accessibility statement
This English text is for convenience. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Toegankelijkheidsverklaring
In brief
- We treat WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the working target, without an audit certificate.
- Language switch, skip link and form labels are part of every page’s baseline.
- Physical access to the studio is described honestly; call us about specific help.
- Report a barrier via [email protected] or the contact form.
1. Scope and status
This statement covers the website cijativojaconsulting.click of Cijativojaconsulting B.V., Overtoom 141, 1054 HG Amsterdam. The Dutch text is authoritative; this English version is for information. Effective date: 1 October 2026. Last update: 1 October 2026.
We have not commissioned an external accessibility audit and we claim no quality mark. The statement explains how we build the site, what we already apply, where friction may remain, and how to reach us. It is not a promise that every assistive-technology combination will be flawless.
2. The standard we follow
Our reference is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Separate rules apply to Dutch public-sector sites; Cijativojaconsulting is a private recording studio. The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) has applied since 28 June 2025 to certain products and services, including some consumer-facing e-commerce. Our offer is a studio by appointment, with a public form and published rates — not a checkout cart in the browser.
We take the spirit of those rules: information should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. We do not have a notified body assess conformity and we publish no formal declaration of conformity under that directive.
3. What the site already includes
Each page has a single main heading, a skip link to the content, a visible focus style and a language code per version (Dutch or English). Navigation can be followed with the keyboard. Fields on contact have associated labels; the consent line points to the privacy policy.
Images have a short alternative in the page language. Links name their destination in the visible text, not only “click here”. Tables in legal pages and guides use header cells with scope. Text-to-background contrast is designed for ordinary daylight reading and does not rely on colour alone.
The cookie window has clearly labelled buttons and is meant to be used without a mouse. The only local key, cjtv_consent_v1, is explained in the cookie policy.
4. Known limits
We do not hide the following limits:
- Photographs on the site are illustrative and generated with AI; they show atmosphere, not a specific client. Alternative text describes the scene, not a real person.
- We do not offer a sign-language video or a separate easy-read edition of these texts.
- The contact form is sent through FormSubmit, a United States service. We do not fully control the accessibility of that hop. You can always email or phone us.
- We do not embed an interactive map; the address links out to a third-party map. That third site sits outside this statement.
- Long legal pages are dense. We put a plain-language summary at the top, but we do not reduce a statute to a slogan.
If you find a further barrier, we will take it into the next update of this page.
5. Alternatives when a page stalls
If a part of the site fails with your tools, use one of these routes:
- email [email protected] — we reply within 2 working days;
- phone 020 737 0842 during Mon–Fri 10–19, Sat 11–17 (by appointment);
- the contact form, or a plain email if the form locks up;
- the sitemap if a page is hard to find in the menu.
Questions about a session, rather than the site, use the same contacts. Rates including 21 % VAT are on services, for example €112 per hour of Podcast recording.
6. The studio on Overtoom
This statement is about the website. The building itself is a compact studio with 3 rooms, including an 11 m² vocal booth and a 26 m² live room, in Oud-West. We do not claim a step-free entrance, a lift or an adapted toilet: those features are not in our fact list.
How to get here: The studio is on Overtoom in Oud-West. Trams 1 and 12 serve the Overtoom (Vondelpark) stop; from there it is about a five-minute walk. You can lock your bike at the racks along Overtoom in front of the building.
If a session needs extra time, a quieter start, someone to meet you at the door or another practical adjustment, say so in your request. We look case by case at what this building can support. More about the team and the premises: about us.
7. Feedback and how we handle it
Send an accessibility note to [email protected] or the contact form. Name the page, the browser or assistive tool and what went wrong. Maarten van Dijk is the contact as director of Cijativojaconsulting B.V..
We acknowledge receipt within 2 working days and look for a practical fix: a text alternative, another path through the site, or a phone appointment. This is not a formal dispute track and not an ombuds scheme. If a legal dispute about digital accessibility remains, you may go to the competent Dutch court; we do not appoint a private mediator.
8. Review and related pages
We revise this statement when the site changes substantially or when the law requires it, and at least when we refresh the other legal pages. Host: TransIP B.V., Schipholweg 103, 2316 XC Leiden, Nederland.
Related pages: privacy policy, cookie policy, legal notice, terms and conditions and FAQ. Guides such as preparing a vocal session follow the same markup rules as the rest of the site.
